Each sectional door is sold only after it has proved its safety. Breda is continuously researching exclusive and innovative solutions to improve the ease of use of its products. At the same time it guarantees the perfect functioning of the product, with the elimination of risks or danger.


SAFETY DEVICES:

01 CABLE BREAK SAFETY DEVICE: a mechanical safety device preventing the door from falling in the unlikely case that one of the cables should break. A range of mandatory safety devices on all doors, according to their weight and model.

02 SPRING BREAK SAFETY DEVICE: Breda safety device preventing the door from falling in the unlikely case that one of the springs should break. (Mandatory safety device for all doors).

03 TRACKS WITH TRACK COVER: Breda system (patent pending) preventing fingers being inserted in wheel guide, sliding track.

04 PANELS WITH FINGER PROTECTION SYSTEM: against the risk of fingers being crushed between panels (Breda Patented system).

05 LOCK TO PREVENT THE DOOR FROM BEING LIFTED FROM THE OUTSIDE (for manual doors): side lock operating from the inside and from the outside (accessory) lock with slide bolt working from the inside only (production model).


FOR DOORS WITH MOTORS:

06 SAFETY DEVICE AGAINST CABLE FLEETING: mandatory for motorised doors with single and three-phased gear motors. Used only on horizontal sliding systems or inclined sliding systems with an incline of up to 10°. This safety device received the “Security & Safety Award 2006”.

07 MICROSWITCH FOR PEDESTRIAN DOOR: prevents the sliding movement of the shutter door if the pedestrian door should be half-open or is accidentally opened during movement (mandatory).

08 FLASHING LIGHT: operates when the sectional door is in motion (mandatory on public roads).

09 PHOTOCELLS: re-opens the door in safety phase, in case of transit in the working area of the door.

10 INFRARED SAFETY RIB: the safety rib provides anti-crushing safety during the closing phase of your door.
